Green Giraffe Advisory announces departure of Managing Director and Head of APAC, Matthew Taylor

Green Giraffe Advisory today announced that Matthew Taylor, Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific (APAC), will step down from his role and leave the firm at the end of August 2026. Matt is leaving to pursue new ventures outside of advisory but will remain within the renewable energy industry.
Since joining the firm in 2012, Matt has played an instrumental role in Green Giraffe Advisory’s development and growth. During his tenure, he has contributed to numerous landmark transactions, built trusted relationships across the renewable energy sector, helped shape our organisation, and, most recently, developed and led our APAC advisory business.
Matt’s impact on the firm extends far beyond individual mandates and achievements. Through his expertise, dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to our people and clients, he has helped shape the business into what it is today.
Green Giraffe Advisory’s APAC business will continue to develop under the leadership of Jun Kasamatsu, Marcus Dixson and Will Jackson, who head the firm’s core offices in Japan, Australia and Singapore, respectively, and will continue to lead the firm’s operations across the region.
The APAC region remains a key market for Green Giraffe Advisory’s long-term strategy and commitment to its clients and the wider sector, with sustained and growing activity forecast across the region. Led by its experienced regional management team, Green Giraffe Advisory is well-positioned to continue supporting clients and build on the strong foundations established over recent years.
