Matthew Taylor is a Managing Director and the Head of APAC at Green Giraffe Advisory. Since joining the firm in 2012, Matthew has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, where he oversees deal origination and execution for global energy transition projects.

With a deep commitment to industry advocacy and sustainability, Matthew has a proven track record of leading complex mandates, including:

• Equity transactions: Directing sell-side and buy-side mandates, as well as general equity and debt raisings.
• Commercial structuring: Providing strategic expertise in key project contract negotiations, including wind turbine supply agreements and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

Prior to his tenure at Green Giraffe Advisory, Matthew gained extensive experience at Renewable Energy Systems (RES), a global independent power producer, and Garrad Hassan (now DNV), a leading technical consultancy. He holds an MEng in Aeronautics from Imperial College London.
