Matthew joined Green Giraffe in 2012 and heads the new Singapore office. He helps coordinate deals, particularly now in APAC. Matthew has led transactions across a range of disciplines including sell-side and buy-side equity transactions, equity and debt raisings, strategic mandates, key project contract negotiations (e.g. wind turbines, PPAs) and has built numerous project teams

Matthew Taylor is a Managing Director at Green Giraffe Advisory, having joined the company in 2012. He contributes to the firm’s strategic initiatives. He plays an active role in shaping the company’s presence and expansion across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, focusing on driving deal origination and execution for global energy transition projects.

With extensive involvement in industry advocacy and sustainability, Matthew has a proven track record leading a wide range of complex mandates, including:

  • Equity transactions: Leadership in sell-side and buy-side mandates, as well as general equity and debt raisings
  • Commercial structuring: Expertise in strategic mandates and key project contract negotiations (e.g., wind turbines and PPAs)

Before joining Green Giraffe, Matthew worked at Renewable Energy Systems (RES), a UK-based global independent power producer, and Garrad Hassan (now DNV-GL), a UK-based technical advisor.

Matthew holds an MEng in Aeronautics from Imperial College in London.
