Green Hydrogen Breakfast event hosted in Hamburg

The WindEnergy Hamburg and H2Expo & Conference 2022 hosted over 30,000 visitors and Green Giraffe is pleased to have been one of the thousands of exhibitors. This year the conference also bought together many industry players interested in the important role of hydrogen in decarbonizing energy-intensive sectors.

Rooted in our strong renewable energy expertise Green Giraffe is actively contributing to growth in the green hydrogen value chain.

Green Giraffe alongside Eversheds Sutherland Energy hosted a Green Hydrogen Breakfast in Hamburg, capturing the momentum in the sector and conference. We connected with experts from across various disciplines in the hydrogen sector to discuss developments and challenges in this exciting new market. Hosted by Udo Schneider (Green Giraffe) and Jubilee Easo (Eversheds), our speakers Molly ILiffe (ERM Dophyn) and Jimmie Langham (cruh21) discussed the role of hydrogen in the energy transition, sharing views and insights from their perspectives and experiences. The discussion touched on key themes and trends notably challenges to scaling up the market, wind (especially offshore wind) and hydrogen being a natural combination, and technical considerations around transportation, storage and import of hydrogen.
