We continue to pioneer the energy sector by successfully venturing into new technologies
Our experience across the renewable energy spectrum also includes geothermal and (run-of-the-river) hydroelectric projects, whilst we are actively looking at new renewable energy areas like floating solar, wave and tidal. As we are committed to expand beyond traditional renewables, we are also gaining hands-on experience in supporting emerging energy transition technologies such as renewable heat, recycling, energy efficiency or carbon sequestration and utilization.
We know what it takes to deliver bankable projects around novel energy transition technologies, and we particularly focus on structuring contracts that can be used to attract investors or lenders, while ensuring that the transaction meets the expectations of financiers in terms of due diligence and commercial terms.

Karim is a Director in the London office, previously working for Investec within the Power and Infrastructure Finance team and for EY within the Power & Utilities M&A team
He has therefore extensive M&A and debt experience having advised developers, large utilities and infrastructure funds, across a wide range of technologies

Albert has advised on a wide array of deal-shapes (tender, debt, M&A) and is native in four languages. Most notably, he worked on debt financing of the first-of-its-kind Geothermal Eavor Loop project. Before joining, he spent a combined 3 years at GE and Siemens, gaining a valuable technical knowledge of components and supply chain

Prior to joining Green Giraffe Advisory, Daan gained experience across several private markets investment firms, most notably at an impact fund, where he focused on sustainable investments across e-Mobility, BESS & grid infrastructure, Recycling, and other energy transition sectors in the Netherlands. He holds a BSc in Econometrics and an MSc in Quantitative Finance
