Harmony Energy sells Project Cheviré to Alpiq with support from Green Giraffe Advisory

Paris, 29 January 2026 – Green Giraffe Advisory (“Green Giraffe”) is pleased to announce the successful financial closing of the sale of Project Cheviré on behalf of our client, Harmony Energy. Acting as the sole financial advisor, this transaction marks another milestone in our extensive track record of BESS closings across France and Europe, reinforcing our expertise in financing the essential technologies of the energy transition.
A Landmark asset for the French grid
Located in Nantes, Project Cheviré is a 100 MW / 200 MWh facility, currently the largest operational BESS project in France. With the capacity to supply the equivalent energy needs of 170,000 households for two hours, the project provides critical ancillary services to the French electricity grid.
This achievement is a testament to the rapid growth of the Harmony Energy team, which established its French operations a bit less than four years ago. The project significantly bolsters national storage capacity and represents a major step forward for local energy security.
