Green Giraffe Advisory acted as buyside financial adviser to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, on behalf of its Copenhagen Infrastructure V fund, on the acquisition of Gawara Baya from Australian developer Windlab. Located near Ingham in North Queensland, the project pairs a 408 MW onshore wind farm with a 104 MW / 208 MWh grid-forming battery, powering up to 240,000 homes. Green Giraffe supported CIP from initial bid through to final investment decision and financial close.
