Van Oord has signed an agreement for the divestment of their 10% stake in the offshore wind farm, Blauwwind, in the Netherlands
Green Giraffe was mandated by Van Oord to advise on their divestment from the Blauwwind Project, an operational 731.5 MW offshore wind farm in the Dutch North Sea.
Luxcara, an international renewable energy asset management firm, has signed an agreement with international marine contractor Van Oord to acquire a 10% share in the Blauwwind Project located off the coast of Zeeland, the Netherlands. Blauwwind is the last project benefitting from a tariff before the start of zero bid tenders in the country.
Green Giraffe acted as the sole financial advisor to Van Oord on this transaction. The scope included the preparation of the information package, as well as supporting the due diligence process and negotiations with investors. The transaction was signed on 22 December 2021 and closed on 31 December 2021.
