Green Giraffe advised French developer La Compagnie du Vent in the sale of 49.9% of 3 onshore wind projects for a cumulative capacity of 74 MW
On 24 November 2017 Engie’s subsidiary La Compagnie du Vent (LCV), closed the sale of 49.9% of two wind farms in France to institutional investor Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) – Falfosse Ramonts and Voie du Moulin – for a cumulative capacity of 34 MW. Non-recourse debt was in place before the sale. LCV will continue to operate the projects.
This sale is the second batch of the Tramuntana framework agreement signed in 2015 between LCV – advised by Green Giraffe – and CDC. A first batch of 3 wind farms with a cumulative capacity of 74 MW was signed with French institutional investor CDC (Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) on 21 October 2015 for a total investment amount exceeding EUR 130 M, with non-recourse debt already in place before the sale:
- The sale of the 27.6 MW Chemin du Bois Hubert wind farm was closed on 17 February 2016
- The sale of the 32 MW Auxerrois wind farm was closed on 23 June 2016
- The sale of the 14 MW Châtaigniers wind farm was closed on 24 November 2016
