Green Giraffe successfully advised the Nordsee One project to improve financing conditions of its non-recourse financing initially raised back in March 2015
Jointly owned by Northland Power and Innogy, Nordsee One is a 332 MW offshore wind farm located 40 km off the island of Juist in the North Sea in German exclusive economic Zone. All 54 turbines have been operating since September 2017.
On 20 December 2017, simulatously to achieving project completion ahead of schedule, Nordsee One closed the restructuring of its term loan facility, significantly improving pricing conditions. The restructured non-recourse term loan facility totaled EUR 840 M. Green Giraffe acted as exclusive financial advisor.
In 2015, Green Giraffe advised Nordsee One in raising its initial EUR 840 M non-recourse financing (plus additional contingent loan amount). Financial close was successfully reached in March 2015.
