Green Giraffe Advisory arranges a second corporate fundraising for REGA Energy Group SA, a Portugal-based renewable energy company dedicated to accelerating the advent of sustainable industry.
Green Giraffe Advisory was mandated as sole financial advisor by REGA Energy Group SA, a Portuguese renewable energy company founded in 2020, to raise financing at corporate level to finance its first renewable projects (hydrogen and biomethane projects) and further accelerate its growth. We advised on the fundraising process including support in structuring the transaction, preparing the information package and the financial model, and negotiations with investors up until signing of the investment agreement.
REGA Energy Group completed an additional funding round of EUR 60 M with current investor SWEN Capital Partners, a leading European infrastructure fund specialized in biomethane and green hydrogen, which underlines both the company’s track-record of delivering consistently as per its business plan and the full confidence of its current shareholders.
The transaction was signed and closed simultaneously on 6 July 2023. Alongside Green Giraffe, PLMJ (legal), VdA (legal), Everoze (technical), Ramboll (technical), and CVA (commercial) advised on the seller’s side.
