Green Giraffe was mandated by Sumitomo Corporation to assist them in the valuation and negotiation for the acquisition of a 29.5% stake in two offshore wind projects in France and under development, Dieppe et le Tréport (496 MW) and Iles d’Yeu et de Noirmourtier (496 MW), which had been awarded tariffs and concessions in 2013 (French offshore wind tender round 2). The sellers were Engie and EDPR, who now collectively own 60.5%. Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations owns the remaining 10%.
The projects are expected to be among the first offshore wind projects to be built in France.
