Green Giraffe assisted Principle Power in securing a USD 22 M investment from Tokyo Gas to support their worldwide growth
Green Giraffe was mandated by floating offshore wind platform designer, Principle Power, to raise equity in the company. This is to further support the company’s worldwide growth strategy and the continued commercialisation of its WindFloat® floating wind technology.
Principle Power has now successfully concluded this equity fundraising round with an investment of over USD 22 M from Tokyo Gas.
In addition, the two parties have set a strong foundation for creating commercial scale deployment opportunities for Principle Power’s WindFloat® technology in Japan.
Successful conclusion of this corporate fundraising, which is the largest equity round closed by Principle Power to date, represents an endorsement of the company’s business plan, a validation of the strong technical track record of the WindFloat® technology, and recognises Principle Power’s global leadership position in the floating wind industry.
