Neoen Australia has secured a long-term debt financing package for the 32-turbine, 100 MW second stage of the Hornsdale wind farm which altogether with the first and third stages will comprise 99 Siemens turbines. The multi-staged project, majority owned and managed by Neoen, is located near the South Australian town of Jamestown, 200 km north of Adelaide. John Laing holds a minority interest in the project.
The financing was chosen as “Best Project Financing of 2016” by trade publication AsiaMoney.
