Green Giraffe advised Greener on the financing of 30 new mobile battery systems, manufactured by Alfen. Greener signed a deal with financial lease provider Beequip on 6 April 2021.
Greener signed a contract with financial lease provider Beequip for the funding of 30 new mobile battery systems.
Green Giraffe advised Greener on the financing process of this deal that will allow Greener to keep growing in a rapidly expanding market. These new batteries are manufactured by Alfen, and consist of portable 10 ft containers containing BMW i3 batteries, each container with an energy capacity of up to 336 kWh and a power of 318 kVA. As a result, Greener now has access to 43 mobile energy storage systems with a total capacity of ca. 15 MWh.
Greener rents out their batteries, amongst others to replace diesel generators on a number of conventional applications, but also for many other, new applications for which these battery systems are fitting and valuable. So far, Greener has saved just under 2 million kilos of CO2 and about 600,000 liters of diesel since its establishment and will continue to save more with their expanded fleet of batteries.
