Green Giraffe Advisory and DC Advisory acted as financial advisors to Greenvolt on the successful divestment of 100% of its two BESS assets, totaling 300 MW / 1200 MWh, to Northland Power. The team provided comprehensive financial and strategic advice and close support throughout due diligence, documentation, and negotiation to achieve an optimal outcome for Greenvolt.
Greenvolt is one of the leading developers of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects with operations spanning across 20 geographies in Europe, North America, and Asia. The two projects – Mieczysławów (200 MW / 800 MWh) and Kamionka (100 MW / 400 MWh) – secured a 17-year capacity payment obligation. Construction is expected to start in 2026, which makes the two projects among the first large-scale BESS facilities in Poland once operational.
